Return & Refund Policy

At Makari Germany, customer satisfaction is important to us. Please read our Return & Refund Policy carefully before making a purchase.

Returns

Customers may return eligible products within 14 days of receiving their order, subject to the conditions outlined below.

Return Conditions

To qualify for a return:

  • Products must be unused, unopened, and in their original condition.
  • Products must be returned in their original packaging.
  • Customers are responsible for all return shipping costs.
  • We only provide a prepaid return label if we shipped the wrong item to the customer.

Please note:

  • Shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Gift sets and products from our Baby Line are not eligible for return once opened.
  • Returns are accepted on individual items only.
  • If two or more identical products are purchased, only one opened product may qualify for a refund under our return policy.

Refund Processing

Once your return has been received and inspected, please allow 3–5 business days for processing.

Makari Germany reserves the right to:

  • Deduct original shipping costs from the refund amount.
  • Deduct any discounts or promotional reductions applied to the original order where applicable.
  • Refuse returns that do not meet our return requirements.

Customers must return products using a reliable shipping service and are strongly advised to request a signature upon delivery.

Wrong Items Received

If you receive an item different from what you ordered:

  • Contact us immediately.
  • We will provide a prepaid return label.
  • Upon verification, a replacement or full refund will be issued.

Undeliverable & Returned Packages

If a package is returned to us by the shipping carrier, a €5 reshipping fee will apply for for if customer want the package resipped.

This includes situations where:

  • The carrier was unable to deliver due to an insufficient or incorrect address.
  • The customer missed three delivery attempts.
  • The customer failed to collect the package from a Hermes ParcelShop, Hermes Access Point, DHL Service Point, or local post office after a missed delivery.


International Shipping

 

DELIVERY TIME

Standard International Shipping: 7–14 business days

Express International Shipping: 3–5 business days

We proudly ship to countries throughout the European Union. Orders are dispatched from Germany via DHL or Hermes to ensure faster delivery and to help avoid customs delays within the EU.

Customs, Import Duties & Restrictions

For orders shipped outside the European Union:

  • Your order may be subject to customs duties, taxes, and import fees imposed by your country.
  • Makari Germany has no control over these charges and cannot estimate the costs.
  • Customers are responsible for all customs fees, duties, taxes, and import charges.

Please contact your local customs office for information regarding import restrictions and applicable charges before placing your order.

International Returns

EU Countries

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless:

  • The wrong product was received; or
  • The product arrived damaged.

In these cases, once verified, Makari Germany will reimburse the return shipping cost and issue a replacement or refund.

Undeliverable & Returned Packages

If a package is returned to us by the shipping carrier, a €15 reshipping fee will apply for if customer want the package resipped.

This includes situations where:

  • The carrier was unable to deliver due to an insufficient or incorrect address.
  • The customer missed three delivery attempts.

Non-EU Countries

All international sales outside the European Union are final.

No returns or exchanges are accepted on international orders shipped outside the EU, except in cases where the customer receives a wrong or damaged item.

Allergic Reactions

Customers are responsible for reviewing product ingredients before purchasing.

If you have a fish allergy, we recommend avoiding products containing Caviar.

Makari Germany is not responsible for allergic reactions or sensitivities resulting from the use of our products.

Damaged Items

If your package arrives damaged:

REPORT TO THE DHL DRIVER IMMEDIATELY.

  1. Take clear photographs of:
    • The damaged product(s)
    • The shipping box
    • The shipping label

  1. Include your order number and photos of the damage.

Important:

  • All original packaging materials and damaged products must be retained.
  • Do not dispose of the packaging until the claim has been completed.
  • Failure to retain the original packaging may result in denial of a replacement claim.

Damage to the external packaging that does not affect the usability or quality of the product does not qualify for a refund or replacement.
